mymobility

Description:

mymobility is a digital care management platform designed to facilitate remote episode of care management, range of motion assessment, synchronous video communication, and asynchronous communication between the healthcare provider care team and their patient via provider-customized care plans (including but not limited to hip, knee and shoulder replacement, and various joint instability, cardiothoracic, and spine procedures) and engagement communications, as well as aggregation and visualization of data about the patient’s journey through their episode of care during the pre-operative, intraoperative, and post-operative phases.  The system comprises six distinct parts: the iOS™ patient mobile application, the Android™ patient mobile application, the web-based patient application, the iOS clinician mobile application, the Android clinician mobile application, and the web-based clinician application, along with OrthoIntel® Orthopedic Intelligence Platform, which is an optional module of the clinician application that provides the aggregation and visualization of data.

Designed for use with the orthopedic, musculoskeletal and cardiothoracic patient populations, this platform integrates data from consumer devices and services, like the iPhone® Apple Watch®, HealthKit™, Android mobile phone, and Google Fit™, as well as data from medical devices like Zimmer Biomet’s ROSA® Robot, into provider dashboards, providing enhanced understanding and monitoring of patients throughout the episode of care, and the ability to visualize the data in aggregate across numerous patients.  Where available and activated, the shoulder range of motion module measures range of motion through the camera on the patient’s smartphone. The WalkAI feature is available for hip and knee replacement patients using an iPhone. WalkAI uses an artificial intelligence algorithm to generate a daily prediction on post-op days fifteen through forty-five of the ninety-day post-op gait speed, based on the patient’s pre-op gait speed and post-op gait speeds of similar patients who have used the mymobility application.

Baseline care-pathways have been developed for various orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and cardiothoracic procedures, and can be customized according to the healthcare provider care team’s preferences, upon implementation. Specific care pathways may not be available in all countries and/or languages.
